Jake is an Adventure Guide with CAMP. He has a long history of outdoor adventures: he first became obsessed as a young camper in the woods of Northern Wisconsin. From canoeing to kayaking and skiing to geocaching, there isn’t much Jake hasn’t tried at least once. He has ski patrolled at several resorts in Montana, led school groups on experiential learning expeditions in the San Juan Islands and Columbia Gorge, led whitewater rafting trips in the mountain west for over 20 years, and has slightly acquiesced from adrenaline-filled 15-plus years of Class V kayaking to more modest sections of whitewater.
In his free time, Jake enjoys whitewater kayaking, cross-country and downhill skiing, and riding his dual-sport motorcycle on the dirt roads and trails of central Oregon. Jake is really excited to get his kids involved in outdoor adventures: they are already riding bikes and skiing and will hopefully be rafting and kayaking in the next few years!
