Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation Deadlines and Refunds:

• Cancellations made 30 days in advance or more of trip departure day will receive a full refund, minus a non-refundable registration fee of $50 per camper per session to cover administrative costs.
• Cancellations made less than 30 days but at least 14 days before the session start date are eligible for a refund of 50% of the tuition paid.
• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the session start date are not eligible for a refund.

Minimum Group Size Requirement: 

Each camp session requires a minimum of four campers to operate. If a session does not meet this minimum, we will notify registered families at least 7 days in advance and offer: a transfer to another session (subject to availability) or a full refund, including the registration fee

How to Cancel: 

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@campbend.com. The date of the email will be considered the official cancellation date.

Absences and Missed Days: 

No refunds, credits, or make-up days will be provided for absences due to illness, vacation, or any other reason. This policy ensures that we can maintain staffing and resources to provide a high-quality experience for all campers.

Camp Closure Due to Unforeseen Circumstances:

If the camp must cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), a full refund will be issued for the affected days.

Weather-Related Cancellations:

Our camp operates rain or shine, with alternative indoor activities planned for inclement weather. However, in the event of severe weather conditions that pose safety risks (e.g., lightning storms), we may cancel camp for the day. In such cases, refunds or credits may be issued. 

Transfers Between Sessions:

Transferring a camper's registration to a different session is permitted if requested at least 14 days before the original session's start date and is subject to availability. A transfer fee of $25 per camper per session will apply.

Medical Cancellations: 

If a camper cannot attend their session due to a medical reason, a full refund (minus the non-refundable registration fee) will be provided upon receipt of a doctor's note. The cancellation request and doctor's note must be submitted before the session's start date.
